We have been assigned the task of a simulated client project in order to prepare us for our real client project which begins in december. For this we have to produce a 20 second television advert that addresses the issue of illegal filesharing. I.e Piratebay. There have been several adverts on television over the past year which immediately spring to mind, unfortunatly i cannot post the videos on here because I still don't have the internet at my house and am still forced to use restricted internet at work.
When I began planning for this piece of work, I immediately thought of previous adverts that had been made regarding illegal file sharing, and how I reacted when I saw them, which was pretty uninterested. Rather than addressing the issue as a whole, I.e. producing a short 20 second film which basiclly "Downloading is a crime", i feel it would be more beneficial to address the issue in a different way, by informing the viewer whats illegal about it, or bringing something new to light that the public might not be aware of.
