During our tutorial yesterday we talked over our ideas and gave each other feedback. One piece of feedback i recieved which I had already considered was Budget. And how I would have zombies/dinosaurs/bands walking towards the house that was file sharing.
After taking this into consideration, I feel as though I have found a solution to the small budget I have available.
- Rather than having Band members/zombies/people representing musicians/actors, I will have a line of people (or just the house owner?) carrying folders/files to the house, the camera will show a close up of the folders, which will have names of films/computer programmes/musicians/games written accross the front of them. The people will all be walking towards the house, which is identified by the IP address. This is to represent file sharring.
- Once the camera has revealed what is happening, ( by showing the people/person physiclly carrying the files/folders ) to and from his house,(with several people constantly coming and collecting files and folder from his living room around his computer) a neighbour will walk out infront of the struggling person/people with some CD's and quote "it's a lot safer buying these".
I have based this idea around the damage that can be done to your computer from p2p file sharring, aswell as the damage it does to the industry.
This is a different approach to my other idea, which was using scare tactics. This is more of an informative advert, that will inform people that downloading can harm their computer, (spyware)
I feel this could be an effective way to grab the attention of the audience. more coming soon.......
