Research Project

Unfortunatly, I am back to no Internet at my house as Sky seem to be unable to help with pretty much anything. So I am having to use to Internet at work again, obviously for stricly work use only. kind of.
I have been looking around on the internet to give my research project a kick start, and just give me some more inspiration so that I can develop my idea further. In doing this I found an interesting website, which has details on subliminal messages in films & adverts. I found this quite interesting and feel it can tie in with the idea I already have, which was to initially give evidence as to how much power is within television and film and how it can be used to control an audience. I was initialy going to do this, through re-editing news reports and changing the story. I feel by using the subconscious mind both through Subliminal messages, and the power of suggestion, I can produce a more interesting and accurate project.

after reading into this, I may chose to change my stance slightly on my project and try and focus it around the power of film, and how slight tweeks to film are enough to give out different messages to an audience. In doing this I will be able to edit films/documentaries/commercials to try and prove my point. Once I have compiled sufficient footage, I Will then a series of tests using the footage I Have created on several audiences, followed by questionaires to try and back up my theory.
